Digitoll allows the vehicle to cross the border without stopping on either the Norwegian or EU side of the border. This means that you have submitted the correct required information, and have received prior approval for border crossing, via a certified IT system. Follow signs and instructions from the Customs at the border to make sure you are doing things right.
Yes, Skypass can only be used to cross the border into Norway. Digitoll is arranged by the Norwegian Customs, and applies only to Norway's customs border.
Yes, it is possible to cooperate with freight forwarders who do not pay for Skypass. The remote forwarders can use our Collaboration module, which is free for those invited in by our customers.
Yes, Skypass can be integrated with other IT systems, like your CMS or TMS software.
Yes, Skypass CMS launches in april 2026.
Digital notification and disclosure obligations (under Digitoll) will become mandatory from 1 February 2026. Until then, resorting to the scheme is optional.
No, you do not need to make any preparations to use Skypass. Log in and you are ready to start immediately.
