Digitoll is a new system developed by Tolletaten to streamline and digitize the process for border crossing into Norway.
When you need to get started with Digitoll
In February 2026, you must use the Digitoll scheme to be allowed to cross the border into Norway. Then there will be no more physical expeditions on the border, as is the case today.
It is recommended to start with Digitoll as early as possible so that you are adequately prepared when the system becomes mandatory in 2026.
